We thank you for joining in for this special Rosary Novena for a Home for Canceled Priests

This 54-day novena has been fruitful for so many people throughout history since originating in Naples, Italy in the 1800’s.

Our intention for this novena is to find a home for canceled priests. Our focus is on the 61-acre property, formerly known as the Lourdes Friary, but we are open to His Will.

Therefore, our specific intention is to provide clarity and direction in making the right decision in the process of finding housing for faithful priests.

How It’s Prayed

A novena means praying 9 days in a row.

The 54 Day Novena is, in essence, 6 novenas: the first 3 novenas over the first 27 days are said in petition – asking Mary for her prayers for a particular intention. The remaining 3 novenas said over the last 27 days are in thanksgiving.

Breakdown of the 54-day novena: 6 novenas: 3 in petition (27 days), 3 in thanksgiving (27 days)

For each novena you’ll say each set of mysteries 3 times in this order:

Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious — Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious — Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious.

Guidelines for Praying

Though we’d love for you to join in each of the 54-days of this novena, don’t feel obligated to pray every day. Just know that there is a big group of staff, volunteers, and supporters praying this every day. Therefore, join in when you are able.

The prayers associated with the novena is definitely longer than the normal rosary. If you just can’t pray the additional prayers, but want to offer your rosary for this intention, just simply pray the normal prayers of the rosary.
